Soldering and PCB Rework

Synopsis

Are you an embedded systems engineer or recent graduate who has never soldered before or do you want to improve your soldering skills? This is the course for you! Soldering is an extremely valuable skill as it allows you to populate prototypes by hand and iron out any design or placement issues prior to production. This can save a lot of time and money. The course takes a hands-on approach and teaches techniques for correctly working and reworking components on printed circuit boards (PCBs). Participants work with both thru-hole and surface mount parts in a variety of sizes and configurations to ensure practice with all component types. Soldering stations and all tools and materials are provided for use in the course.
